NCB conducts raid at money transfer facility in Ludhiana
LUDHIANA: Three days after the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) arrested a Ludhiana resident for drug peddling, the NCB sleuths raided a money transfer shop in Gur Mandi of old city area on Saturday. The NCB scanned records of transactions and suspected that money was transferred through the money exchange shop to Ludhiana. HTC investigation team (SIT) probing the Kotkapura police firing case on Saturday revisited the crime spots. Led by the Punjab additional director general of police (ADGP) LK Yadav, the three-member SIT urged the general public to intimate the SIT about any information they might have regarding the case. Both the victims are admitted to a private hospital in Jalandhar. A case has been registered.
