Vikram S, an important milestone for India

History is marked by moments of change, and the launch of India’s first-ever private rocket did so. The mission Prarambh was successfully launched and marked history in the space industry of India. Not only this, it shows how our country is progressing day by day. The launch of a privately owned rocket, Vikram S, marked the private sector’s growth into space. One of the best things about this launch was that the payload was developed by students.

Punjabi language to promote the mother tongue is a welcome move but not the right step to promote Gurmukhi/punjabi language across pan-india. In an era described as a global village, painting signboards in the mother tongue will limit its growth and defeat the very purpose of promoting the language beyond the geographic domain of the state of Punjab. Instead of making zestful calls, need to think outside the box in the promotion of the mother tongue Punjabi as a link language for the benefit of the Punjabi settled abroad.
