MODI RELEASES 71K JOB OFFERS TO FRESHERS IN ‘ROZGAR MELA’
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits to public-sector posts on Tuesday via videoconferencing as part of Rozgar Mela, the Union government’s programme to fill government vacancies and generate one million jobs in the public sector. The prime minister said 71,000 young men and women were given appointment letters in 45 cities and added that the central government had already distributed 75,000 appointment letters, an official statement said.
