PROVISIONAL RECOGNITION

CHANDIGARH: : The Punjab and Haryana high court on Tuesday directed Haryana government to accept examination forms of students from around 60 schools being run with provisional recognition. The high court bench of justice Sudhir Mittal acted on a plea from Sarva Haryana Private School Trust, with members in different parts of the state, 60 of whom were before the court.

As per the lawyer, Pankaj Maini, the trust had challenged October 28, letter from the Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani, according to which these 60 schools were not included in the list of schools to be allowed for online submission of examination for the academic session of 20222023.

It was also requested that the schools be allowed to continue with provisional recognition as allowed in the past.

The high court while fixing the next date of hearing for December 13, sought response from the state and directed that petitioner member schools be permitted to upload the enrolment forms as well as the examination forms of the students admitted in the current academic session.
