FEROZEPUR: A person had been booked for firing gun shots in a wedding at Ferozepur on Tuesday. As per informatio­n, Tarsem Singh of village Katora was found firing gun shots in air with .312 bore weapon to allegedly jubilate wedding of his nephew but the incident went viral on social media.a case was registered. department retrieved 88 acres of land at Mehandipur and Thathiala villages falling under forest division Nawanshahr from the illegal occupants here on Tuesday. DFO Satinder Singh, said the department got demarcated its land ‘Total Survey Station’, in both villages and took possession from the illegal occupants.

Tuesday withdrew its order of transferri­ng five teachers to other districts for staging a protest against the DEO to seek permission for educationa­l tours for students.
