Unprofessional conduct

The passing of a resolution by the District Bar Association, Patiala, to observe “no work” in the second half of November

10, to watch the semifinal of the T20 cricket match between India and England, is not only ridiculous but unprofessional also. People expect advocates to follow ethics and a pro-client interest approach. But if the advocates choose to abstain from work, just to watch a match, on the hearing date, what can be more unfortunate? The Bar Association of the Punjab and Haryana high court should take note of this irresponsible act.
