Ban on flaunting arms in Punjab a welcome step

-

The Punjab government recently banned the public display of weapons both physically and on social media. FIRS have been registered against people who have put up photos flaunting their weapons on social media. This move by the government is welcome as it will ensure restraint and help maintain law and order. Earlier, the young generation was simply copying people who posted pictures with weapons on social media. These cases show that Punjab Police are scanning social media diligently to keep a check on violations.
