Haryana: 929 sarpanches, 10,362 panches to be elected today

CHANDIGARH: Haryana state election commissioner Dhanpat Singh on Thursday said in the third and final phase of panchayat elections on Friday, the polling will be held to elect 929 sarpanches and 10,362 panches in 25 blocks of Faridabad, Fatehabad, Hisar and Palwal districts. He said that there are a total 22, 27,319 registered voters in the four districts and out of the total 2,655 polling stations, 615 are sensitive and 781 are hypersensitive.
