Don’t let guard down on Covid
The first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic caught the world unawares and the variants that followed played havoc. After three years, the world has heaved a sigh of relief but reports emerging from China of cases of coronavirus peaking are disturbing. The government has lifted all restrictions on wearing masks at airports and on travellers. This is not a wise move. This disease may spread again if we are not alert. Wearing masks should be compulsory for travellers and all visitors, particularly from China, should undergo the Covid-19 test at airports.
