OVER 1 LAKH YOUTHS GIVEN JOBS IN HARYANA, SAYS KHATTAR

KARNAL/CHANDIGARH: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that more than one lakh regular government jobs have been given to youths on the basis of merit and with complete transparency during the BJP rule.

He said that his government has ended the age-old ‘parchi’ and ‘kharchi’ system from government appointments.

The chief minister said that during previous governments, leaders of the ruling parties used to send the list of their dear ones to HSSC and HPSC for unfair selections, said Khattar during his address at an event organised by Kala Shiksha Sahayak Sangh in association with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh held here today.

Seeks special economic package for Haryana Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday sought special economic package from the Centre, saying at least 14 of the total 22 districts of the state are included in the National Capital Region (NCR). Speaking at a pre-budget consultation meeting that Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman held in Delhi, Khattar said Haryana should be given a special economic package as lots of resources have to be spent on the construction and maintenance of infrastructure in the NCR.
