Cong’s anti-poaching plan
With the counting of votes drawing closer in Himachal Pradesh, the opposition Congress has devised a strategy to “prevent poaching” of its MLAS. Congress election observer and Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and his Rajasthan counterpart Ashok Gehlot will arrive in Shimla a day or two ahead of the counting of votes on December 8, according to party insiders. As per the plan, if there is a hung assembly, party’s successful candidates will be taken to a secret place, probably in Chhattisgarh. The central leaders have been given responsibility to be with MLAS in the districts assigned to them.
