Going against nature not a step forward

This refers to Taking the right step forward (Our Take, HT November 28) on the Supreme Court granting hearing to petitioners in the same-sex marriage case. The government must oppose it vehemently. The apex court had, in fact, acted against the fundamental laws of nature when it decriminalised homosexuality and lesbianism four years ago, in the garb of protecting personal freedom. Going against the established laws of nature, for any reason whatsoever, is not a step
