The existing colony is mainly inhabited by puppeteers, snake charmers, magicians and artisans
Part of the public-privatepartnership between DDA and Raheja Developers, slum dwellers would be given 2,800 flats
Remaining 5.22 hectares land would be used by the private developer to build residential and commercial pockets that it can sell at market rates With an area of 36 square metres the flats would be located in six 15-storey towers
Each household will be given a Permanent Unique Number to ensure transparency 21 in-situ projects in pipeline
