Capital infusion into banks less than needed: Moody’s

NEW DELHI: India’s allocation of `11,200 crore for capital injection into state-run banks is credit negative as it is much smaller than estimated requiremen­ts, Moody’s Investors Service has said. The rating agency said in a report that lenders would need an estimated `36,000 crore. PTI
