The two injured women alleged that they were molested too during the clash with some men from the other group tearing their clothes. The police later arrested all those involved on the charges of rioting and unlawful assembly.

One of the arrested accused, police sources said, also tried to pull rank later by claiming to be the relative of a former Haryana chief minister. The youth, identified as Sidharth Sanewa, 22, further went on to claim to be residing in the bungalow —outside which the clash took place — that reportedly had been allotted to his uncle, a former Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MP.
