The siblings have made organic food popular and easily accessible in the city through their venture— I Say Organic. While 29-year-old Ashmeet founded it two years ago, his sister Aakanksha (25) is its marketing head. They have tied up with about 10 clusters of farmers in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Kerala to source chemical-free vegetables, fruits, grains, and spices. They have nearly 2,000 clients who can place their orders online. I Say Organic ties up with restaurants and nutritionists to make the community aware of the benefits of organically grown food. They have also held talks and screened films for promoting organic. “We believe in giving people the option of eating safe food and supporting farmers who grow this food,” says Aakanksha.
