Mid-day meal: 12 students fall ill in Bihar

PATNA: At least 12 students fell ill in Bihar on Saturday after eating their mid-day meal at a government school, officials said. The children complained of uneasiness after the meal at the Dera Baba middle school in Buxar district, a district official said. They were admitted to a primary health centre at Simri and are said to be out of danger. The children informed the authorities of a dead lizard in the meal. But the official said that police collected samples of the meal but doctors did not find any trace of poison.
