NEW DELHI: The business fraternity is hopeful that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would be able to make the national Capital a global city and also separate economics from politics for better growth prospects.

(AAP) chief Kejriwal was on Saturday sworn in as Delhi’s chief minister by Lt Governor Najeeb Jung at the Ramlila Maidan along with six ministers.

“Kejriwal will have tremendous opportunit­y to cleanse the political process with the support of the people of Delhi and would be able to separate economics from politics for metaphoric­al growth of the national capital as it will always attract diverse immigrants from the entire country,” Alok B Shriram, APHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, said.

ASSOCHAM president Rana Kapoor said he was confident that the AAP government would be able to make Delhi a global city harnessing the strength of the common man whose potential has not been fully tapped. Kejriwal, 46, led the AAP to a thumping win in the Delhi elections. IANS
