UGC issues guidelines for adoption of CBCS

NEW DELHI: UGC has issued guidelines for adoption of Choice Based Credit Transfer Scheme (CBCS) across all universities. The guidelines will ensure seamless mobility of students across higher educational institutions in the country and abroad. The UGC has also framed syllabi for 19 under- graduate courses. The choice-based credit transfer’ system will enable students to opt for courses of their choice, learn at their own pace, undergo additional courses and acquire more than the required credits and adopt an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
