The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast says that the maximum temperature throughout the week is likely to hover between 32°C and 36°C.
On Monday, the maximum temperature is likely to touch 35°C, while the minimum temperature will settle at 26°C.
Cloudy sky and light rains are expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday and Saturday, the forecast reads heavy thundershower with the temperature fluctuating between 32°C-33°C.
On Sunday too, the maximum temperature reached 35.4°C, a notch above normal and the minimum temperature was 26.1°C.
The maximum humidity was recorded at 86%.
