Syria’s civil war and refugee crisis showed up in the Economist Intelligence Unit’s ranking of the most liveable cities – Damascus was ranked the lowest. Paris, though still ranked high, slipped down the chart because of the multiple terror attacks it has endured. Australia’s Melbourne is the best city to live in, followed by Austrian capital Vienna. Gawker Media sought bankruptcy in June after facing a $140 million court judgment following an invasion of privacy lawsuit from former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea. Gawker had published a 41-second edited video in 2012 featuring Hogan having sex with the wife of his then-best friend, radio “shock jock” personality Bubba the Love Sponge.
