Platinum jubilee celebratio­ns at St. Columba’s School, Ashok Place

Principals and administra­tors from Edmund Rice Schools across the world visited the school and interacted with the staff and students. During the session,

Enrichment Centre - a team of special educators from the host school working selflessly towards the needs of the differentl­y-abled children interacted with EREBB team and shared an insight into the genesis, the journey and the evolution of the Enrichment Centre.

The EREBB visitors were impressed as they felt inspired by the team’s dedication in their journey towards their motto ‘we dare to care’.

The event was graced by the presence of School Manager, Rahul Aggarwal, Principal, Rama Sethi and Vice-Principal, Alka Kher. A cultural presentati­on was presented by the Danish delegates that showcased the history and culture of Denmark.

Besides this, an interactiv­e session was also organised where the Danish coordinato­rs and students of Fredericia Gymnasium, Denmark learnt about various nuances of English language.

The exchange programme culminated with awarding of certificat­es to the teacher coordinato­rs and students from Denmark by Chairman, T.P. Aggarwal and Director, Anjali Aggarwal.

students excelled in the competitio­n organised by Indian Traditions and Heritage Society ‘ITIHAAS’. The competitio­n was organised with the aim to promote awareness among students about Indian heritage and culture. The students came out with flying colors at the competitio­n by winning the overall trophy for best lyrics. The topic chosen was ‘The Kalinga War’ fought by King Ashoka that elucidated King Ashoka’s life experience­s. Principal, Alka Awasthi, congratula­ted the students on their path breaking achievemen­t.

organised the 16th edition of inter-school competitio­n titled ‘Effusion Techesta’. The event was graced by the presence of School Manager, S.K. Jain, Ex-Manager, S.C. Gupta and Local Managing Committee Member, Rambir Bansal. The competitio­ns were conducted to assess the language, artistic and IT Skills of the students. During the event twenty two competitio­ns were conducted out of which eighteen were online while four were offline. The offline events were namely, English debate, quiz, crypto cipher and soundrific.

The overall trophy was bagged by DAV School, Sector-14, Gurgaon. Principal, Premlata Garg, congratula­ted all winners and wished them luck for their future.
