Uncoding the true essence of feminism

-

FEMINISM, by definition, is the belief to establish equality between men and women, so why then are we trying to crush men to put women above them.

The true essence of feminism lies in putting women at par with men and not above them.

It is true that women need upliftment because they have been suppressed for way too long, but that cannot be achieved by giving reservations or special rights, to achieve that goal we first need to instil in society the need to respect women.

Furthermore we need to accept the fact that men and women cannot be treated equally in all areas, because they are not the same.

Men and women are different in a lot of biological ways, which we should keep in mind.

Often, we talk about how women are undervalued and how they sacrifice so much after marriage and how they give up on their careers and dreams for her children, but in this entire rumpus we often forget that men too sacrifice and give up on their freedom for marriage.

If the woman manages the house, the man is the one who makes sure there is a house; if a woman takes care of the child, a man makes sure the child does not lack anything in his life. One cannot compare oranges to apples, So instead of comparing men and women and trying to achieve ‘equality’ we should accept the genders as they are.
