We need to change our attitude towards life. Virtues such as generosity, love and concern, which comprise the moral fabric of society, should be felt by all of us. We have these in us but have become selfish due to the lure of the materialistic world.

If we want to enjoy happiness, we need to feel the vibrations of god through mediation. The more we are conscious of our surroundings, the more chances are that we will be able to hear the messages of the almighty.

Generosity should be seen as something not imposed on us, but as a responsibility. When you feel generous, your life is full of compassion. Generosity is not an act — it is a state of consciousness that finds its expression in an act. It is a trait that has to be inculcated in our fellow beings.

Understanding brings happiness. If we want happiness we need to explore the truth. Happiness cannot be dependent on winning or losing. It cannot come from outside.

Everyone’s desire is deeply engraved in the search for peace. When we start living and working for others, then our lives become more rewarding and meaningful. We tap our hidden potential and tend to become more energetic and creative.

We need to keep reminding ourselves that the opposite of love is not hate, but apathy or indifference to the needs of people around us. We need to tap our hidden potential to become more energetic and creative.

It is essential for us to understand who we are. Understanding ourselves without prejudice is a way of understanding others around us.
