Thunderstorms, light rain likely in city today

India Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of some rain and thunderstorm for Sunday.

Though temperature is expected to rise on Sunday, it will still remain below normal. Sunday would be a relatively cool affair in the capital with temperature expected to drop to 15°C in the morning and not rise above 30°C during the course of the day. The Regional Weather Forecasting Centre has also predicted the possibility of some rain and thunderstorm on Sunday, as Delhi is under the influence of a western disturbance.

By the end of next week, however, the temperature is expected to continue to rise. HTC
