North civic body launches website, plans to bring all services online
The North Delhi Municipal Corporation launched its revamped website on Monday. It will provide users easy access to the mayor’s helpline, call center help line, parking complaint app, unauthorised construction and parking lots management system.
“The website would allow people to file complaints against unauthorised construction, parking and other issues in their areas and officials will have to reply in a specified time online. Besides users can access information related to any department/officials/tenders on this website, ” said North MCD mayor Preety Agarwal,
According to her, the website http://mcdonline.gov.in/tri/ ndmc_mcdportal will help people access all the information related with the North Corporation at one place.
“It would be soon linked with the social media and have various bookmarks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+. These will help people to share the information about the policies, plans and functioning of the civic body on these sites,” said Agarwal.
On the occasion, the civic agency has also initiated the service for filing online application for e-mutation/e-change of name in property tax records.
“The property taxpayers would now be able to apply for mutation/change of name in property tax by applying online and uploading details of the property. After clearance of all property tax dues against the property which would reflect automatically from the master data, the details would be processed automatically within a time bound manner,” said North MCD commissioner PK Gupta.
Afterwards a certificate would be issued through e-mail or post. “This process has minimum human interface. It will also help digitise all property tax records besides improvement in services,” said Gupta.
