A class 5 student has alleged that he was sodomised by a fellow student.

Both the victim and the accused are sons of foreign diplomats of two different countries and currently posted in India.

According to the police, both the boys are studying in an international school in south Delhi in the same grade and section.

The matter came to light when the victim’s parents brought the matter to the notice of the police on Sunday.

Police said they were conducting inquiry into the matter.

Sources, however, said that any action in the matter was unlikely, due to diplomatic immunity of the 11-year-old. Diplomatic immunity is legal immunity that ensures that all diplomats are given a safe passage and are considered not susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the host country’s laws.

According to the laws, the immunity, however, can be withdrawn after an inquiry.

In his complaint, the minor has alleged that he was sexually abused by his classmate.

It is not clear if the incident was reported inside the school or elsewhere. When asked, Delhi police refused to comment on the case.

In June 2015, a Saudi diplomat had been accused of holding captive, thrashing and raping two women that he hired as domestic servants in his apartment in Gurgaon.

The diplomat, however, evoked his immunity and managed to leave the country.

The police then had raided the diplomat’s residence and had rescued the women. An inquiry into the allegations was made and the women had given a statement that they were held captive against their will.

They had also stated that they were beaten up and repeatedly raped by the man and some of his friends.

They were even allegedly denied water and food.
