SHINE JOB FAIR TODAY, EXPERTS SAY NEW AGE SKILLS SOUGHT

Experts at Shine.com, a leading job portal, said that top companies are expected to take part in its Delhi job fair on Sunday, to fill more than 750 vacancies. Shine.com along with Sikkim Manipal University- DE is organising the Delhi Job Fair 2017 on September 3 from 12:30pm-4:30pm.

The event will take place at YMCA, Jai Singh Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

They dismissed notions that the trend of recent bouts of layoffs in the IT sector will continue and said hiring seems to be picking up.

Numerous top firms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Jet Airways, Bajaj Finance, HCL and others will take part in the Shine Delhi Job Fair to find candidates across marketing, sales, big data, project management, finance, customer support, etc.

The job fair will also witness hiring for emerging skill sets & technologi­es. “This is the first time we are participat­ing in the Shine Job Fair. We are looking forward to recruiting some great talent for skills such as big data, hadoop etc”, said Prashant Mishra, HR, Lenskart.com.
