TREE PLANTATION

A tree plantation activity was organiised at The Modern School, ECNCR, recently. Kindergarten students from the school’s Modern Early Years, Deepali wing joined Kindergarten students from the school’s senior wing to plant saplings around the boundary wall. On that occasion, the children presented a sapling to principal Abha Sadana and recited rhymes on the importance of trees at a special assembly. A small skit emphasising the need to conserve trees was staged also.

The students of nursery class from Modern Early Years, Deepali planted saplings on the premises of the school. All the students participated in the event with great zeal while planting the saplings. In the end, the principal addressed the students and urged them to plant and nurture more and more trees.
