SAYING NO TO FIRE CRACKERS
Drawing inspiration from the Supreme Court’s ban on the sale of fire crackers, Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School, Model Town, organised an anti-fire cracker campaign recently. During the campaign, special assemblies were organised daily to dissuade students from burning crackers. Students from Classes 1-12 took part in that campaign. They presented a street play and a talk show to sensitise students about the ill effects of burning crackers on health and environment. On the concluding day, the principal addressed the students and urged them to adopt safer measures for celebrations.
