SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY

Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, organised an investiture and scholar badge ceremony recently. The event was graced by chief guest Saumya Gupta, director (education), govt of NCT of Delhi and presided over by Rear Admiral (retd) MM Chopra, vice chairman of the DPS Society and chairman of DPS Vasant Kunj. The school choir kicked off the event with a medley of songs. Shortly after, Rear Admiral Chopra took over the floor to enlighten the students and talked about the sheer potential that the next generation possesses. The gathering was then entertained by two traditional dances. The chief guest then took over the podium to share her words of wisdom. While sharing her past experiences with DPS Vasant Kunj, she highlighted how prestigious the institution was. This was followed by the scholar badge ceremony wherein 180 meritorious scholars were awarded gold medals, blazers and badges.
