Din in Kerala House over CPI(M) leader’s son

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala assembly on Thursday witnessed uproarious scenes as the Opposition took up the issue of alleged fraud committed by CPI(M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’ son in Dubai even as the BJP moved the Enforcement Directorate seeking a probe into financial transactions carried out by Binoy Kodiyeri. The issue surfaced on Wednesday after a complaint filed by a Dubai-based tour firm leaked out in which it accused Binoy of cheating ₹13 crore and threatened to move Interpol.
