Colleges to hold ‘Open Days’ sessions
NEW DELHI: Delhi University applicants can head to different colleges to attend ‘Open Days’ where teachers and university officials will address their queries related to the undergraduate admission process. The university had held centralised ‘Open Days’ from May 21 to 29.
On Sunday, Rajdhani College in west Delhi held an ‘Open Day’ session for students, a university official said. There are at least five ‘Open Days’ sessions starting from Monday at various DU colleges.
Sri Aurobindo College will hold a session for applicants on Monday. “On Tuesday two colleges are holding the session,” a DU official said.
This year, university is likely to announce only five cutoffs and conduct a centralised counselling for the remaining seats.
“The university has already received close to three lakh applications out of which around 1.8 lakh students have completed the application process,” the official said.
