Women given slight relaxation of norms

The first cutoff for NCWEB centres will be available on June 30 — along with the third cutoff list for the rest of the university.

Admissions under the first list will continue till July 3, before a second cutoff list is released on July 6.

This year, women candidates from NCT, who apply at the centralise­d online registrati­on form and opt for either BA or B.com, will automatica­lly be registered for NCWEB.

“This is to help female applicants. They won’t have to pay the registrati­on fee or register separately for NCWEB,” said an official.

There are 26 DU colleges which function as teaching centers for NCEWB, including Hansraj College, Miranda House and Jesus and Mary College, officials said.

NCWEB is conducts classes only on Sundays and is preferred by students who want to pursue profession­al courses like Diploma while pursuing an undergradu­ate degree to become more employable by the end of three year.

NCWEB said students are, however, not allowed to pursue any other fulltime degree course.

Meanwhile, of the over 63 Delhi University colleges that offer undergradu­ate courses, at least 17 — including Miranda House College, Kamla Nehru College, Lady Shri Ram College and Jesus and Mary College — are allwomen’s colleges. The college has two hostels, the Kalavati Gupta Hostel, on its campus and the IP College Women's Hostel. The total number of seats is 450

Major companies have recruited over the past years companies such as, Zomato, Wipro, Google, Ernest and Young, HCL, Genpact and more

The college has an annual fest ‘Shruti’.

It has playground­s and has a a swimming pool, climbing wall, walking track, gymnasium, shooting range, fitness centre and a sports complex

The institute organises an inter-college festival ‘Feria’ every year.

The college has a big hall where yoga, zumba/aerobics classes are organised. the college has a table tennis hall. It also has a basketball court.

The institute has three computer labs and the entire campus is Wi-fi enabled.

The college canteen can accomodate about

40-50 people. A fast food stall is also located on campus
