Applications for Bvoc courses ends today
NEWDELHI: Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) said it will close its online and offline applications for three Bvoc programmes on Saturday. The last date for applying to BA (Jobs) programmes has been extended to July 5.
AUD offers three Bvoc programmes in tourism and hospitality, retail management, and early childhood centre manage- ment and entrepreneurship at its Karampura campus, with 32 seats in each course.
“The admissions to these programmes are based on aptitude tests, and interviews. The test for all three programmes will be conducted on June 27,” said AUD spokesperson Anshu Singh.
The interviews for the course in retail management will take place July 3. Tourism and hospitality’s interview will be on July 4, and interview for early child- hood centre management and entrepreneurship will be July 5.
Meanwhile, the last date for applying to BA (Hons) programmes offered at Kashmere Gate Campus was also supposed to be Saturday, but this has been extended until July 5. The university offers six undergraduate courses at the Kashmere Gate campus. “We have three new BA programmes being offered at Karampura campus, and the last date of application for these courses was to July 5. We extended the last date for the Kashmere Gate courses to July 5 as well, to avoid any confusion and harmonise the process,” said Singh. The admissions to these programmes are based on cutoffs, and the first cutoff is expected on July 9.
As it is a state university, 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students at the AUD. The university releases separate cutoffs for Delhi and non-delhi students.
