Johri asked to explain after sexual assault claim
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) running the Indian cricket Board has given its CEO, Rahul Johri, a week to give an explanation after allegations of sexual assault was made by an unnamed woman in the social media on Saturday. Johri was mentioned by name in a Twitter post of the woman shared by author Harnidh Kaur. It claims the attack happened after she was invited to his house on the pretext of a job interview. The allegations pertain to Johri’s time as a senior official of an international media house before he took over as BCCI CEO in June, 2016. When contacted, Johri did not wish to comment.
