NEWDELHI: After a nine-day break, the Indian Super League (ISL) resumes with Delhi Dynamos hosting two-time champions ATK at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Wednesday.

Dynamos wasted opportunities in the 1-1 draw in their opener against FC Pune City earlier this month, and they will be looking to claim full three points against the Steve Coppell-coached ATK side that has lost both its opening two games at home.

The only worry for the hosts will be the fitness of midfielder Bikramjit Singh after he sustained a calf injury against Pune.

“Last game we had a lot of chances and we missed. To win games you need to take these chances and we are working on that,” Dynamos head coach Josep Gombau said on Tuesday.

“We (have) had exactly two weeks to prepare for this game. In between, some of the players were missing as they went to play for the national side. But we are ready to play,” he added. Gombau’s opposite number, Coppell will be desperate for a win after a poor start to the campaign.
