Delhi wakes up to a cold morning as minimum temperatur­e remains 12°C

NEWDELHI: Delhiites woke up to a cold Saturday morning, with the minimum temperatur­e settling at 12 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.

Smoke mixed with mist and fog persisted in the morning, a MET department official said, adding that the humidity level, recorded at 8.30am, was 91%.

The weatherman has pre- dicted clear skies throughout the day. “The skies will remain clear and the maximum temperatur­e is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius,” the official said.

The minimum temperatur­e was 11 degrees Celsius on Friday, while the maximum temperatur­e recorded was 29.2 degrees Celsius.
