Einstein’s letter shows he feared the rise of Nazis
JERUSALEM: More than a decade before the Nazis seized power in Germany, Albert Einstein feared for his country’s future, according to a newly revealed handwritten letter. Einstein went into hiding in northern Germany when he penned a letter to his sister, Maja, in 1922, warning of the dangers of growing anti-semitism. The letter is set to go on auction next week in Jerusalem.
