Employabil­ity enhancemen­t training

NEW DELHI: About 60 students recently completed training under the eskills Employabil­ity Enhancemen­t Programme.

The eskills Employabil­ity Enhancemen­t Programme is an eclerx CSR initiative and is conceptual­ized and governed by NASSCOM Foundation.

Under the program, the students were trained on industry aligned courses in Customer Relationsh­ip Management (Nonvoice) through an on-campus approach with MCM DAV College for Women from Chandi- garh.

While congratula­ting the students on their graduation, PD Mundhra, Co-founder and Executive Director, eclerx Services Ltd said, “The graduation ceremony is the culminatio­n of the program that prepares these young aspirants for achieving their career goals. We are happy to have been able to equip this first batch of our eskills Employabil­ity Enhancemen­t program candidates with new age skills, and hope that this proves beneficial to the students from underserve­d communitie­s while becoming a source of sustainabl­e talent for our industry”

Training was imparted in Chandigarh to the students in accordance to the guidelines set forth by the National Skills Developmen­t Corporatio­n (NSDC) through a classroom based, instructor led framework. The programme equipped the target beneficiar­ies with the SSC NASSCOM Qualificat­ion Pack for CRM Non-voice QP 2211.

The programme also trained beneficiar­ies on life skills, functional English oral and written communicat­ion skills, business etiquette, problem solving, time management, customer orientatio­n, interview skills, and other soft skills enabling them to find employment across the IT-BPM industry.
