Maoist involved in murder of TDP MLA arrested

BHUBANESWAR: Police in Odisha on Friday arrested Dambaru Khilo, a Maoist who was allegedly involved in the murder of two Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members in September last year. Koraput superintendent of police, Kunwar Vishal Singh said that Khilo was arrested in Koraput district following a tip-off. “Khilo was an active member of socalled Nandapur area committee of the CPI (Maoist), that plotted and carried out the killing of the two Andhra Pradesh politicians. We will hand him over to the NIA after interrogation,” said Singh.
