Dharma cards two-under 69 to take lead at Golconda Masters
HYDERABAD: M Dharma emerged as the man to beat on the third day of the PGTI’S season-opening Golconda Masters Golf Championship as he carded twounder 69 in the penultimate round to build a two-shot lead at 16-under-197 at the Hyderabad Golf Club (HGC) on Friday.
The chasing pack at 14-under 199 featured some established names such as Chikkarangappa (70), Rashid Khan (68), Karandeep Kochhar (66) and Priyanshu Singh (68), the 2019 PGTI Qualifying School champion.
PRAJNESH IN LAST FOUR
CHENNAI: Top-seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran and 16th seed Sasikumar Mukund moved into the semifinals of the ATP Chennai Open Challenger here on Friday, albeit in contrasting styles.
Gunneswaran eased past Australia’s James Duckworth, the seventh-seed, 6-4, 6-3. Mukund beat Brydan Klein 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (3).
