School, Prashant Vihar K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II Celebrates Annual Fiesta K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II n celebrated Annual Fiesta ‘Shantipath-the Saga of Life’. The programme commenced with the inauguration and unveiling of the statue of Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore by the Chief Guest Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of the Chairman Yash Dev Gupta, Vice Chairman Jai Dev Gupta, Director S.L. Bansal from K.R. Mangalam Group of Schools, Chancellor Dr. Dinesh Singh, K.R. Mangalam University, Members of the Management Committee Educational Advisors and principals of sister schools. n St. Margaret Sr. Sec. School, Prashant Vihar The students of reverberated everyone with the feelings of patriotism in their Annual Talent Show. The occasion was graced by the Chairman of the institution Mr. B.R. Goswami, Mrs. B.R. Goswami, Managing Director Mr. Naveen Goswami, Mrs. Naveen Goswami and Principal Renu Jain. The lamp lighting was followed by the ‘Swan Dance’ performance. Principal Dr. Sangeeta Arora applauded the efforts of students and teachers to make the event a success. Pranab Mukherjee bestowed prizes to the deserving students. He addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom. The grand finale ‘Arise’ was a spectacle to watch. Annual Sports Meet at Vandana International School, Dwarka Art and Craft and Home Science Exhibition at Flora Dale Sr. Sec. School, Dilshad Garden The day was enlivened by inspiring exposition of the chief guest, freedom fighter Lajpat Rai Yadav. The ExMargaretarian Ankur Mittal, the first Indian to win the double trap gold at the World Shooting Championships also inspired the students. The celebration began with ‘Vande Mataram’ song followed by a presentation on the Making and Relevance of the Indian Constitution. The march past drill presentation intensified the grandeur followed by the rendition of National Anthem. Merit certificates were given to the students followed by a vote of thanks. drew a huge crowd. Principal Indu Bhatia inaugurated the exhibition. 1500 exhibits were displayed by the students such as Ravanas, Krishna Jhulas Photo frames, Newspaper craft, Fish equariums, flowers using tissue paper, paper cup, Plastic bottle, Wire trees, bottle decoration, Roof hangings etc. Students of Home Science displayed Sculptures and painting, knife painting and also displayed different fields of Home Science and Scope to explore in that particular field like Tie and dye Method, Block Painting, different cooking Methods and Fruits and Salad decoration. It got an overwhelming response from students and guardians. Vandana International School, Dwarka celebrated its Annual Sports Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony with the theme UDAAN- an Ode to Freedom. The Chief Guests Gulab Singh, MLA, Matiala, Naresh Balyan, MLA, Uttam Nagar and Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Leader of House, SDMC accompanied by Guests of Honour Bajrang Punia, Padma Shri and Gaurav Sharma, widely known weightlifter were welcomed by Chairman and Principal V.P. Tandon along with Vandana Tandon, Principal, Kamal Model School. Lamp lighting was followed by the welcome address by Vice Chairman Harsh Tandon. The events commenced with the torch ceremony, the band led the parade. Academic Director Akansha Tandon tabled the Annual Report. The achievers were felicitated and their meritorious efforts were appreciated. Various dance performances showcased the art of patriotism.
