Morten Frost roped in as coach at PPBA

NEW DELHI: Danish badminton legend Morten Frost has been roped in as consultant coach for the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) in Bengaluru.

Besides guiding the youngsters, Frost, a four-time All England champion, will also help in identifying talent and implement coaches’ development plan. Initially, he has been contracted for a year, with sup- port from Olympic Gold Quest. The former world No 1 has earlier worked as coach in Denmark and Malaysia.

GUWAHATI: Asian Junior Champion Lakshya Sen along with the mixed doubles pair of Shlok Ramchandran and Shriyanshi Pardeshi put up a brilliant show to guide the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to a narrow 3-2 victory over the Railways in 74th Inter State-inter Zonal Badminton Championships.
