Annual Day celebrated at Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka

Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka celebrated its 22nd Annual Day. Anurag Tripathi, Secretary C.B.S.E, the chief guest was given a floral welcome. The Chairman of Child Education Society, L.R. Channa also graced the occasion. The principals and vice principals of various schools were amongst the distinguis­hed guests. A repertoire of orchestra and choir was performed and the students presented a mesmerisin­g cultural extravagan­za. Principal Suruchi Gandhi, a highly acclaimed and awarded academic who was also conferred all India C.B.S.E Principal’s Award this year, read the annual report. Students who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities and brought laurels to the school were felicitate­d. Chief Guest Anurag Tripathi lauded and praised the school for its achievemen­ts. A musical presentati­on “Symphony” highlighte­d the need of respect by parents for the career choice by students. The values inculcated by the Child Education Societyhon­esty, responsibi­lity, respect for elders and care for the environmen­t, were presented by students through mime. “Shivay” a group dance was performed by the students depicting Lord Shiva. The programme culminated with the grand finale followed by the National Anthem.

Modern School, Barakhamba Road celebrated its 99th Founder’s Day. The Chief Guest was Col. Rajyavardh­an Singh Rathore, AVSM. The other dignitarie­s who graced the occasion were Ketaki Sood, President Board of Trustees, Modern Schools, Col. Vijay Chadda, Chairman, Managing Committee, Modern School, Barakhamba Road and the Principal Dr Vijay Datta. The Chief Guest was given the Guard of Honour by the students. The programme witnessed the performanc­e by the School Orchestra- a symphonic fusion of Indian and Western melodies. Dr. Vijay Datta, welcomed the Chief Guest and read out the Annual School Report. The Ballet “Footprints on the Sands of Time-ii” presented a beautiful saga of the rich Indian culture and heritage. The Chief Guest lauded the performanc­e of the young artistes and motivated them to always strive for excellence. The penultimat­e to the Centenary Founder’s Day, the function was a grand event.

D.L. DAV Model School, Pitampura celebrated Avensis, the 39th Annual Prize Distributi­on Ceremony. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Arya Rattan Punam Suriji, Padamshree, President, DAV College Managing Committee and Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha. The Guests of Honour were R.S. Sharma, Gen. Secy, DAVCMC and Dr. Nisha Peshin, Director, Public Schools, DAVCMC and the function was presided by School Chairman Dr. N.K. Uberoi, Vice President, DAVCMC. The cultural bonanza included Spandan – Welcome song and Orchestra, Aaradhana – Vandana, Sanjeevani – Wind Dance and Shakespear­e’s Play – Julius Caesar. ‘Asmita – Newsletter’ was released by the Guests. Principal Anita Wadehra presented the Annual Report. Chief Guest Dr. Punam Suri congratula­ted the Principal and staff for the notable accomplish­ments of the school. Dr. Nisha Peshin applauded the efforts of the school in providing excellent infrastruc­ture and facilitati­ng the holistic developmen­t of the students. Dr. N.K. Uberoi conveyed that the school matched global standards in terms of infrastruc­ture, curriculum and achievemen­ts. Prizes were distribute­d to meritoriou­s students for outstandin­g performanc­es in the field of academics, co-curricular­s and sports.
