WINTER SESSION LIKELY TO START IN EARLY DECEMBER

NEW DELHI: Parliament’s upcoming winter session may start in the first week of December, after voting ends in the Gujarat assembly elections, senior officials said on Friday. Though the schedule is yet to be finalised, it may run at least till the third week of December, another functionary said. “The government is planning to hold the session in first week of December, possibly on 5 or 6, and the session might continue till December 29,” said an official.
