DHAWAN AND DHULL SHINE IN DELHI’S VICTORY OVER MEGHALAYA
KOLKATA: Shikhar Dhawan, Himmat Singh and Yash Dhull hit half-centuries as Delhi defeated Meghalaya by eight wickets for their second successive win of the Vijay Hazare Trophy here on Sunday.
Meghalaya scored 216/7 in 50 overs. In reply, Delhi raced home in 32.2 overs with openers Dhawan (54 off 42) and Singh (85 off 88) sharing a 72-run stand. Dhull scored an unbeaten 71 off 64 balls.

Opener Samarth Vyas hit 200 off 131 balls in Saurashtra’s 282-run over Manipur on Sunday. Vyas’s double ton is the fastest in List A cricket by an Indian, overtaking Shikhar Dhawan who took 132 balls against South Africa A in 2013.
