‘Whoever sees India as motherland is a Hindu’
RAIPUR: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday said whoever considers India as yjeor motherland is a Hindu.
Addressing a public meeting at Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, he said: “Those who consider India as their matrubhoomi (mother land) and want to live with a culture of unity in diversity and make efforts in this direction, irrespective of whatever religion, culture, language and food habit and ideology they follow, are Hindus,” Bhagwat said.
Bhagwat was the chief guest at the function organised by the RSS in the Congress-ruled state.
“We all have had the same DNA for the last 40,000 years. Our ancestors taught us that every person has their own manner of worship. Follow this piece of wisdom. Everybody should speak his or her own language so that it could be developed further,” the RSS leader said at the function.
