Bharat Electronics Ltd signs MOU with HSL
Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has signed an MOU with Defence PSU Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) to carry out joint development, manufacturing and product upgrades of identified products/systems and to capitalise on the emerging opportunities in the domestic defence, non-defence and export markets.
India’s multi-hued ethnicity, cultural diversity, colourful weaves and traditional crafts came under one roof at the Khadi India pavillion at the IITF. The Khadi India pavillion, depicting the theme of “Vocal for Local, Local to Global”, was inaugurated by Union Minister of MSME Narayan Rane in the august presence of Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of State for MSME, Manoj Kumar, Chairman, KVIC and other dignitaries. The Khadi India pavilion has set up more than 200 stalls for participation by khadi artisans.
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SVC Tech Ventures LLP for cooperation in the manufacturing and marketing of Heavy Duty Blast Doors. The Memorandum of Understanding aims at leveraging the complementary strengths and capabilities of Bharat Electronics Ltd and SVC Tech Ventures LLP. It will enable the two companies to collaborate as partners in the design/development of new and improved Heavy Duty Blast Doors for the protection of defence establishments and national assets.
The theme pavilion also depicts the core areas of khadi, i.e. rural economy, technology, infrastructure, youth participation and global outreach, as five pillars of aatmanirbhar bharat.
The 23rd All India Police Lawn Tennis Championship 2022 commenced in New Delhi. Nisith Pramanik, Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. This year, the Central Reserve Police Force is organising this championship under the aegis of All India Police Sports Control Board.
V K Paul, Member (Health), NITI Aayog inaugurated the Health pavillion at the 41st India International Trade Fair. The theme of this year’s Pavillion is “Heal in India, Heal by India”. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Paul stated that health must be given due attention.
Ministry of Tribal Affairs along with other ministries and state governments celebrated the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas across the country. On the occasion, Draupadi Murmu, visited Ulihatu in Jharkhand being the birthplace of Birsa Munda. Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, welcomed the President of India, in the esteemed presence of Governor of Jharkhand Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren, and MOS (Education) Annapurna Devi. President along with other dignitaries also paid floral tributes on the statue.
