EX-C’GARH CM JOGI’S KIN BOOKED OVER FAKE CASTE CERTIFICATE CASE

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh police registered a case against Richa Jogi, former Chhattisgarh CM late Ajit Jogi’s daughter-in-law, after her fake caste certificate was cancelled, an official said.

Jogi’s certificate declaring her to be belonging to a Scheduled Tribe was cancelled by the High Level Certification Scrutiny Committee of the state’s Tribal Development Department in 2021. “The case was filed under the Chhattisgarh Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes (Regulation of Social Status Certification ) Act 2013,” Mungeli SP Chandra Mohan Singh said. “I will challenge the illegal FIR in court,” Jogi said.
